Use sketchup for creating a cutting layout for a plywood parts – An exclusive presentation by Jay Bates

Jay Bates, the renowned wood working professionals, presents an exclusive sketchup video that shows step-by-step processes for creating the layout or cutting diagram toward any woodworking design (plywood parts) through sketchup. The sketchup can spped up the design & planning stage as well as make it more efficient & error free.
Mr. Bates applied the following shortcuts for completing the project :-

  • Ctrl = adds a copy command to the move and rotate commands
  • Q = rotate
  • R = rectangle
  • T = tape measure
  • D = dimension (this is a custom keyboard shortcut defined by Bates and is not set by default)
  • M = move
  • Space Bar = selection command
  • Triple Click = In order to select all in a model space that is attached to that item just triple click on a piece of model space geometry
  • Double Click On Component = Go to component edit mode
  • G = Converts selected model space geometry into a component
The attendees can select ticket types either from 3D Basecamp registration and 3D Bootcamp weekend.
